Zimbabwe's Forgotten Children wins Peabody Award
Brian Woods, Exec Producer of the film said. "We are really thrilled that the film has been honoured with a Peabody Award. It's fantastic recognition for the brilliant journalism of Jezza Neumann and Xoliswa Sithole, and for the bravery of BBC FOUR to commission such a risky piece of television. This film has already brought about great change in Zimbabwe, and hopefully this award will encourage a US broadcast, which will enable us to build on the work that the True Vision Foundation has already started in various schools out there, and get more of Zimbabwe's forgotten children into school."
